From the outset, to completion I catalogued the progress of our 8 month house build, so that we had a good record of it to look back on in the future.

I call it a selfbuild, although it's not really, in the pure sense, we had a contractor to project manage most of the work. This was a really good move, he was able to coordinate all the tradesmen, and keep the site busy almost all of the time.

This site contains daily entries for each day that something happened and different features like slideshow views, allowing you to see the house go up in its various stages.

I kept the diary from the day the digger came onto site, until the day we moved in. Obviously there were lots of things still going on, but I decided to stop the diary there, and any further updates that merit a little story of their own can be found at my gallery www.ccso.co.uk/gallery
