At last the slabs have arrived, and 2 hours put them on.
The lorry has a remote control arm, which the driver controls from the top of the house. This allows him to see precicely where the slabs are being placed. He said that the slabs weigh over 40 tonnes!
After the slabs are in place concrete is brushed over them to seal between them. The driver remarked about the good work of the bricklayers, he said the slabs were sitting very level.
