The guttering company came today to install the guttering. It took them about 3 hours to install all the seamless guttering all round the house.

The tilers came back on Monday, and by the end of the day the tiling had been completed around the velux windows, and the lead flashing of the porch. Tuesday finished the rest of the roof, and by Wednesday the conservatory had been felted, battoned, and tiled.

One week of almost solid rain, no progress on the roof.

The chimneys have now been plastered, and ready for finishing. The house is a good bit dryer inside now, most of the walls are dry.

The felt was all put on is a couple of hours in the morning

The facia work was completed just before the holidays, hopefully the felt can go on as soon as the workers return.

The facia boards are nearly all on, and the cut roof is completed on the conservatory. Just the boards to go on at the gable end of the living room. But that will have to wait until after the Christmas hols.

Not much visable progress today, just lots of walking about and some scaffolding.

The day is gone, and the trusses are in place. The lorry and crane came in the morning and placed the trusses, and the rest of the day was spent positioning them. Follow the progress here
