The electrician has been here Wednesday and Thursday night, working at completing the first fix downstairs. I have also been installing cabling for an alarm system too.

The electrician came over on Thursday 18th December, and it took around 3 hours for us to mark out all the electrical points. Lightswitches, powerpoints and tv etc all had to be marked. Then on Monday 22nd a man came to do the tracking. He worked all day monday, and Wednesday, then came back again on Monday 29th.

The electrician has been back several times over the holiday period fitting boxes, and conduit - now most of that work is complete. He will return once the roof is on to start wiring the upstairs. Downstairs needs to be battened before he can go any further there.

The phone had been installed by BT into the caravan, and a reel of cable was left which should reach to the house. I had to remove the cable from the caravan, as it was to be laid down with the water/electricity.

NIE tried to contact me on Friday (nub they missed me) to say that they had an opening on Tuesday. I contacted them today, and they said it may be Wednesday because some machinery was broken down. This would give us time to get the trench dug for the installation of the cables. The poles and transformer were delivered today.
